On the Type R’s 2nd gear crunch & 4th gear lock outs were pretty common for most, but I believe they fixed that on the ‘21’s as they have updated clutch/shifters. What you’re describing just sounds like the mechanical nature of shifting. You’re still in the break in period so it will smooth out over time.
